Clinical Study Title:
A randomized, placebo-controlled trial of topical retinol in the
treatment of cellulite.
| Plain
English Summary: |
In
this study, 15 women participated in an experiment
to determine the effect of a topical vitamin A treatment
on the appearance of cellulite. Participates were
given the topical cream of vitamin A or a placebo
cream to apply to cellulite. At the end of 6 months,
the skin was examined. The elasticity of the skin
improved by 10.7%, while viscosity improved by 15.8%.
This suggests that a vitamin A cream can help to alleviate
cellulite by helping to smooth out the skin. |
