artificial tears solution (Siccaprotect) in treatment of dry eyes.

This
study looked at the effectiveness of eye drops containing
vitamin B5 for patients who reported dry eyes. Participants
were given either artificial tears, or artificial
tears containing vitamin B5. A total of 50 participants
were included in this study. They were using the drops
5 times a day for the 6 weeks of the study. Those
participants whose eye drops contained the vitamin
B5 supplements had greater reductions in symptoms
of dry eyes. The use of vitamin B5 is beneficial in
aiding treatment of eye permeability. |
