English Summary: |
This
study looked at the use of vitamin K to aid in preventing
fractures related to osteoarthritis. This study lasted
for 2 years and involved 241 participants already
diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Half the participants
received the vitamin K supplement, while the other
half did not receive anything. Those participants
who received the vitamin K had fewer fractures during
the study. This suggests that this form of vitamin
K supplements can help to reduce the number of fractures
in participants with osteoarthritis. |
